His World, His Works

Psalm 90:17

And let the beauty of the Lord our God be upon us:

and establish thou the work of our hands upon us.

It amazes me that God would be so gracious in sharing His creativity skills with man. Truth is, we can only attribute the word 'Creator' to Him, for He alone can make something out of nothing. Everything that follows after are just recreations: copied, inspired by, derived from. But He allowed it. Encouraged it. Is pleased with it. Because it's His way of revealing Himself to us. His delight is to touch us with His wonders and to inspire us to work with Him. And that 'being together' is His joy.

God's working in my son's life is the theme of this blog. As a parent, I can see Him sharing His heart in fashioning my little boy into the artist He designed Him to be. For one, I am certain He orchestrated my musician genes to be married to an industrial designer for the necessary foundation. God also set the stage for Rilian's training by directing our family to the homeschool system. We're really blessed for this flexi-sked and the ample time after schoolwork.

What will be featured here are the artistic works of my son which I hope to share with other parents as an idea resource site for their creative children. I pray that God would WOW us with more of His beauty and greatness as we ponder on His works to and through our children. It's really an exciting journey ahead.
